All About Fur Babies

Established in 2016, Miss J. La’s Fur Babies Cat Cafe and Adoption Centre has the title of Winnipeg’s first Cat Cafe! What started as an opportunity to provide the city with a unique cat cafe and adoption centre experience, quickly became the ability to rescue stray and abandoned cats in need of care. Operating as our own rescue since late 2019, our primary goal is to find these precious kitties their perfect forever homes while providing them with a relaxed and comfortable environment. 

We always say that when you are visiting the kitties at Fur Babies Cat Cafe, you are in their home. From the cat trees to the toys, our number one priority is that our cats are comfortable. We make sure they have all they could need to enjoy their time at Fur Babies until they find their forever homes. When you walk down the “Hallway to Heaven” to visit the 40+ cats at Miss J. La’s Fur Babies Cat Cafe and Adoption Centre, it is a chance to interact with our free-roaming kitties, whether you are looking to adopt or just spend some time with cats!
